Tuesday, April 10th-
We began a new unit in science this week on Rocks & Minerals. Thanks to everyone who brought in rocks for us to observe! We will have scientific notebooks to record and collect data just like real geologists! In reading, we started the first story in unit five about responsibility. This story is titled Fire Fighter! It is all about two firefighters who are called to put out a house fire and the procedures they have to go through when they get a call. We are now in unit 8 for math and this week we are talking about even and odd numbers. What do you get when you add two even numbers? What about two odd numbers? How about one even plus one odd? We will have the answers to all of these questions by the end of this week! **Keep up the great work Rm. 4! ***Due to my maternity leave all book orders will have to be placed through the classroom teacher in check form only!
